Monsoon and Santa Fe Brewing will personally review all auditions. We will notify selected participants via email/text and let you know that you have been selected. Please make sure to fill out the form completely and correctly.
An Audition Video can simply be a live performance. We are listening for good songwriting, playing, and singing. Your Audition Video helps us determine if you are the right fit for this contest.

Short answer is Yes, Absolutely. Hip Hop features amazing lyricism and is definitely a songwriter genre. BUT we must emphasize NO PRE-RECORDED BEATS allowed. LIVE INSTRUMENTS ONLY.
It is limited to maximum 3 performers on stage. Drums must be no more than a 3-piece drum kit. Time and noise constraints prevent us from accommodating large bands. This is about songwriting, Judges won't favor a complicated line up.
